Established in 1998, Customized Energy Solutions Ltd. was created to assist clients in managing the changes in the wholesale and retail electric markets. As the industry restructured, many participants recognized the value of creating sound market rules and staying abreast of market changes. Thus, Customized Energy Solutions was created to address the need to simplify, analyze, and influence the markets on behalf of our clients. Our clients can focus on running their businesses, while we focus on removing barriers to them doing so.

SIMPLIFY
Through our day to day presence in stakeholder forums we are on the cutting edge of the changes in the markets - in real-time. After identifying the issues and market areas that are important to our clients, we track them and provide timely and concise reports. Often, proposed rules and changes are of a technical nature. We explain these clearly so that our clients always know why an issue is important to their business interests.

ANALYZE
We help our clients to understand how market opportunities and changes will impact them, both strategically and financially. Our knowledge of the inner workings of wholesale and retail markets allows us to quickly analyze the impact of market conditions upon our clients’ operations. Whether the rule changes are taking place at the federal level, regional reliability councils, Regional Transmission Operators (RTOs), or with the local utility, we work with our clients to define the bottom-line impact.

INFLUENCE
We work with our clients to influence the development, composition and ongoing evolution of the energy markets through representation and advocacy in a wide variety of industry forums. Our goal is to ensure that our clients' interests are effectively brought to bear upon the market. If they have dedicated external affairs personnel, we will coordinate with them to supplement their activities, so that their resources are used for maximum benefit.
